Stay in a cook with friends and family or enjoy breakfast as the sunrises with views over the lake. All our kitchens are equipped to an excellent standard with full height fridge freezer, hob, oven and microwave and dishwasher. Just behind the kitchen is a small utility room with washer dryer, perfect for beach gear and welllies!

Brings the dogs on holiday to Lapwing at no extra charge. We are ready to welcome them, bowls ready for their evening meal! . All of our holiday homes have secure terraces so that your dogs can run freely from inside to out. You will never be short of walks on the resort with acres to explore from woodland to lakeside.

Retallack Resort is set over rolling countryside and Lapwing sits a more private location with a large garden infront of its terrace. Enjoy your bubbling hot tub on your terrace and the wonderful resort activities on offer.
Skylark and Swallow
Set back with large garden in front, Lapwing is a beautiful holiday home, perfect for a family break in North Cornwall. Arrive to a huge open plan kitchen sitting room which opens onto a large private terrace with hot tub. Enjoy four big bedrooms split between upstairs and downstairs with a bathroom on both floors, including a jucuzzi bath.
Lapwing was great for our trip to Cornwall, lots of space for us all and the hot tub was perfect. The Italian restaurant in Padstow made our last night, thanks for the tip Amy!

This is a lovely lodge and really well positioned in the park. The upstairs lounge was my favourite space and so lovely for just relaxing. It was very clean and had all facilities we needed. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Blue Tomato Cafe
Blue Tomato at Rock, with glorious views out over the Camel Estuary and onto padstow. Relaxed and perfect for the family, children will love it! Huge milkshakes, delicious breakfasts, fish and chips and the best brownie!
Daymer Bay
Daymer Bay in Rok, arrive by the foot ferry frrom padstow over the estuary or drive from the resort to the small car park. A calm strecth of sand with far reachig dunes, running along the Camel Estuary. One of our family favourites for a game of beach cricket.
Camel Ski School
Camel Ski School in Rock, operates on the Camel Estuary, reach it by the Padstow foot ferry or drive from the resort to Rock, teaching all ages how to waterski and specialising in wakeboarding, wake surfing, paddleboarding, kayaking, inflatable rides and waterskiing
Camel Cycle Route
For the ultimate day, hire a bike at Bridge Bike Hire in Wadebridge, cycle the level 3km route along the stunning Estuary, arrive in Padstow, then secure the bikes, walk around the Harbour town and enjoy great food and even an ice cream with views over to Rock.
Trevose Golf Course
My favourite has always been the famous Trevose Golf Course, play along the headland and watch the waves crash. Book the Championship course for a memorable day of golf. The halfway house is not to be missed !
Watergate Bay
Watergate Bay, a glorious stretch of golden sand, rated one the best bays in the world. Outcrops of rock give interest for little ones rock pooling. Dog friendly year round and perfect for family sandcastle competitions or leaning to surf. Parking is easy nearby and great cafes too.
