Welcome to RockPool; new for 2024, we are absolutely thrilled to be welcoming guests to such a stunning holiday home. Rockpool is breath-taking with sumptuous beds, perfect to drift off in after day exploring. Melt away in the opulent bathrooms and gather together, chat, cook, and share great memories in the gorgeous kitchen. The terrace really is a highlight for me, the perfect space to sit for hours, eat with friends, celebrate together or just relax in your sunken hot tub under the stars.

Rockpool sleeps 8 guests in four large bedrooms all hinting at boutique hotel with gorgeous dressing tables and pretty mirrors. All bedrooms can be altered from superking to twins, to suit your party. Dine in and then gather around board games or head out to Padstow for an evening at RickSteins fish and chips! The stunning kitchen is perfectly stocked with all that could be needed for dinner parties with elegant wine glasses and contemporary crockery to the Nespresso machine for morning coffees and breakfasts on the terrace.

Blankets on each bed are perfect for cooler evenings and the patio doors on the bedrooms are perfect for warmer mornings to walk out onto the terrace as the sun rises.

The benefit for all our guests with Queenwood Holidays are the superb state of the art resort facilities from indoor heated swimming pool and wellness area to Elemis Spa and Gym. Book your session at the indoor pool, and enjoy your complimentary membership for you and your guests. The elemis spa is bookable and charged per treatment.

After a swim in the pool, younger guests will love the adventure play ground with shipwreck, island and swings. Book to eat lunch at the resort Look Out restaurant with fantastic views over the renowned FlowRider surf machine. The resort is full of activities for all with the lake activities open from April to October with Aquapark, SUPs, Cabelski with inland beach and more!

This is a lovely lodge and really well positioned in the park. The upstairs lounge was my favourite space and so lovely for just relaxing. It was very clean and had all facilities we needed. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Cornwall is home to a collection of high-quality courses with excellent practice facilities, great golf tuition and some of the most spectactular Coastal fairways.

My favourite has always been the famous Trevose Golf Course, play along the headland and watch the waves crash. The halfway house is not to be missed! Just around the Estuary towards Rock is the well renowned St Enodoc Golf Course, of the two courses here, The Church Course is ranked among the top 100 golf courses in the world, with towering dunes, this is a testing course. Close by to the Resort is Merlin Golf Club  and an enjoyable links golf course at Newquay Golf Club provides breath-taking views over the Atlantic Ocean.

Cornwall is renowned for the freshest ingredients and on your step are the best suppliers of locally grown vegetables, catch of the day and locally reared meats and delicatessens and farm shops selling the most delicious local produce.

Here are a few of my favourites! Padstow Farm Shop  just a few miles from Retallack Resort is brimming with Cornish Produce, deli and meat counter, Fishmonger visit, Cornish gifts and more! There is an online shop too!  At Trerethern Farm the Padstow Kitchen Garden is a must visit, with an honesty box farm shop packed with seasonal goodies. The award winning Peter Morris Butchers is close by in our local village, superb quality and parking next door. For a local Vineyard look no further than the picturesuqe Trevibban Mill, just a few miles towards Padstow, award winning wines and vineyard views to enjoy winetasting or their tasty menu.

Camel Cycle Route

For the ultimate day, hire a bike at Bridge Bike Hire in Wadebridge, cycle the level 3km route along the stunning Estuary, arrive in Padstow, then secure the bikes, walk around the Harbour town and enjoy great food and even an ice cream with views over to Rock.
