For families traveling with toddlers we have a full baby back in each house from cot to high chair. For families travelling with Teens, they will be in heaven! Holidays with Teens
Passionate about creating memorable breaks in wonderful holiday homes and understanding the value of time away, Queenwood Holidays opened in 2018. After 10 years of enjoyment designing, developing and managing Retallack Resort in Cornwall, delivering a bespoke, curated holiday service is my dream!
Each holiday home is beautifully designed, perfect for friends to gather, families to relax in with occasions to celebrate. I take great pride in delivering luxurious holidays through our private resort collection, ensuring a 5-star holiday experience.
I hold strong importance of excellent facilities on your door step so as not to have to reach for the car keys everyday. Understanding that a holiday is a break from the norm of rushing around, however still needing the comforts of staying connected with Wifi and smart TVs. Furthermore, the location of your holiday home. Booking a break where you can be at the best beaches, restaurants and activities within under 10 minutes has always been at the top of my list! Retallack is just a few miles from Padstow, Watergate Bay, Mawgan Porth and Newquay, close enough to pop out for Fish and Chips or a day out at the beach.
Kids in Cornwall
As a mother of two fun-loving energetic young boys, I’ve learnt over the years much of what families need on a Cornish resort holiday. This helped me shape the resort, its offering and how very valuable a concierge service is for busy families and groups of friends prior to their breaks away. We love to assist with any of our guests’ holiday needs, my small team and I at Queenwood Holidays offer a completely free concierge service.
We are here to help from booking restaurants and spa appointments to assisting with surf schools to private chefs. If you need any help from a birthday cake to a babysitter, please just ask. Many of our clients travel with children therefore equipping the homes with all parents could need from cots and stair gates is vital. My concierge service helps with ideas on where to go, what to see to kids activities and hiring babysitters.
Dog friendly family breaks
Our Cornish holidays on resort are all dog friendly. It is a pleasure to welcome dogs as part of your family.
This was one of our first decisions on opening the resort in 2008, that we would add premium dog friendly holiday homes, which at the time were hard to find throughout Cornwall. In addition to being dog friendly, there is no extra charge for their stay.
Dogs are welcome in our self-catering lodges, kept on the ground floors, out of bedrooms!
